My husband has anklelosing spinedilitus,He has been having pain in his L-testical,He just went to the DR.s last week and they said he had extra fluid in his testical. So they are sending him down to do a catscan.they already took a urine sample, nothings came back on it .and it s been almost a week.so I am assuming they didn t find any infection.looked at his testicals with a blue light of some sort.need your advice.thank you cindy Hansen.
Hi. Thanks for your query for your husband and an elucidate history.
It is goof that the urine report has come negative. Since there is a hydrocele- the extra fluid, the CT scan will tell us all detailed diagnosis which can be Orchitis with secondary hydrocele or Varicocele.
This will also tell us whether this is normal testes or not.
The treatment will depend upon the final diagnosis. -Surgery if there is hydrocele -Medicines for minimum 3 weeks if there is an inflammation of the testes. -Surgery if varicocele is present
