Suggest Remedy For Pain In Neck And Burning And Tingling Shoulder
41 year old male previous discectomy laminectomy lower back 2002 no major issues there other than the occasional twinge. For two months I have had severe left side neck pain getting progressively worse over the two months. Pain along with burning and tingling into the shoulder and into the arm with some skin numbness at the neck. Last bp 174 over 106. Cannot find a comfortable position. Been trying neck exercises and creames and Otc nsaids heat and massage. Maybe two or three hours of sleep a night segregated. Talking a serious toll on me. Thanks for your time.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Niraj Modi's Response
Looks like your problem is too much. I suggest to take mri of cervical spine and check with your ortho about the result. If the condition is not well then he will guide further. Or else can try with physical therapy if there is no much issue in spine. You can also try with cervical traction to release pressure from nerves. And also use heat pack regularly to have sothing effect on muscles. Hope this was useful for you. Take care
