Suggest Remedy For Pain In Soreness In Testicle

My 8th grade year (2010) the boys in my school happen to think it was fun to start nut checking each other, essentially hitting everyone in the nuts, and eventually it became a competition. I enjoyed the game until eventually I got hit, extremely hard, I was bent over and agonized in pain. Ever since the incident I have been feeling minimal pain, thus today was the first day I experienced extreme pain like before in 8th grade. It occurred when I began lifting something with my left hand my left testicle began to hurt. I ve took a hot shower and examined it: its more loose than the right testicle and feels like there s something mushy on the top of the testicle, and momentarily have a pulse. I m 17 and a senior in High school and my last physical was in August 2014, Please help?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can fully understand your concern.
From the history and symptoms you describe, you're likely to have a mild epididymitis, with or without a varicocele. The safest step to take is :
1. Repeat the physical examination, during an episode of pain.
2. Get a scrotal doppler ultrasound scan done.
3. Blood routine tests, like CBC,done.
According to the reports, proper treatment can be advised. Keep your scrotum elevated upwards, with a tight underwear,or a scrotal support.
If you've any doubts, send the reports to me, as a direct question.
