Suggest Remedy For Pain, Itching And Pressure In Eyes

I have severe pain (like a bee sting) on my brow bone and my eye socket is sore and it extends out to my temple, it fells like there is pressure behind my eye and on the outer side of it. The eye is itchy. I am also prone to sinus infections one a year...What is it?

Hi , I am Dr. Richa. I am an opthalmologist. Symptoms described by you are more in favour of sinusitis related headache/ eye ache. You should take treatment for cold and sinusitis. For acute problem like this you can take decongestant tablet like like sudafed (do not take more than 3 times per day). But you need to consult ENT specialist if symptoms recur. You did not mention your age and your work profile, whether it requires computer work or not. It would have been easier to diagnose whether pain is eye related or not. Take care.
