Suggest Remedy For Painful Headache

My daughter was bitten several times by horse flys at a beach near Boston yesterday. They are swollen and itch but now for the last 4 hrs she has a very painful headache . She is not prone to headaches. SHE LOOKED IT UP on line but could not concentrate and is light sensitive. The pain is severe and on one side starting at the temple, throbing. what should she do?

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your daughter is having painful headache. My response to your question as below.
The immediate treatment of the condition is by the use of analgesic drugs for pain relief.
These symptoms indicate a acute attack of migraine. This requires definitive treatment by the use of anti-migraine drugs.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this answers your question.
