Suggest Remedy For Painful Lump In Knee While Having Degeneration Cyrstals
Two weeks ago my knee locked causing considerable pain. Was ambulanced to A and E. Had x Ray which showed degeneration. Crystals and arthritis. MRI will take place within a month but am worried about a lump which was left outside of knee but moved to inside knee and has now returned to the left. Tender but not painful. Feels like half a golf ball
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from osteoarthritis of knee joint. It has a loose body as it locked causing considerable pain. It has been confirmed by x ray of knee joints. Analgesics such as diclofenac slow release tablets is helpful in pain relief. Diacerine and glucosamine sulfate protect cartilage from breakdown and help in cartilage regeneration. Quadriceps exercises is started after pain relief. Loose body has moved in and out of joint .It can be removed by arthroscopic surgery. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
