Suggest Remedy For Painful Ulcer On Uvula With Sore Throat And Cough

2 things: I have a really painful mouth ulcer on my uvula, making it difficult to swallow. Also, I have a sore throat and a cough but the cough gets a lot worse in the evenings/at night to the point where I need to cough after every breath unless I breathe very slowly.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain it seems that you have got an infection in throat leading to sore throat, Uvulitis and an ulcer over uvula and cough can be due to irritation in throat..
I would suggest you to take a course of antibiotic like Augmentin..
You can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Motrin and Aleve..
Suck throat lozenges..
You can do warm saline gargles..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..
Take a soft diet and sip on plenty of warm water..
You can do steam inhalations..
Take cough suppressants containing Guaifenesin and Dextromethorphan..
Use a humidifier at night to soothe the throat..
In case of no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a throat swab culture can help in confirmation of cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..
