hello,i have been facing abdominal pain for about more then a month. i have diarrhea, but more then that the pain is unbearable and that pain is mostly because of gas in stomach. During diarrhea, a lot of gas is also excreted. i usually go to washroom for about 2 to 3 times a days (these days). but the gas plays havoc with my stomach whole day. I referred to doctor, he suggested Entimizol DS, but it didn t cure me still. Was it a right medicine or do i need some other medicine? please prescribe me that??
high carbohyrate diet can cause bloating and gas formation. if you have the habit of chewing gum, it can also cause gas. talking while eating and swallowed air is also a major cause behind the gas.
you also say you have diarrhea . it is a important point. do you regularly consume alcohol , if so you need to stop it.
doctor has given you tablets to get rid of amebiasis . you need to have warm fluids and home made well cooked food.
if symptom persists you need a stool examination, ultrasound abdomen, colonoscopy and blood investigations.
thank you good wishes
