Suggest Remedy For Persisting Knot After Hitting
Hi. I tripped and hit my forehead on the curb. I had a huge knot on my eyebrow with a scrape on it and a black eye appeared the next day. I immediately iced the lump after I fell. My question is: 4 days later should there still be a knot and what can I do about it?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having hematoma formation following injury.
Now blood from hematoma gravitated down in the eye giving black eye.
Now there might be having small blood collection in hematoma forming lump or knot.
nothing to worry this will be absorbed gradually.
Apply ice pack for few days.
Apply thrombophob cream locally.
Ok and take care.
