My 9 yr old granddaughter, Emma, had her tonsils and adnoids removed yesterday morning and is in more pain than her mother expected this afternoon. She looked at Emma s throat and told me she was surprised and taken back to see a hole. What can be done about this? Does the hole go away?
Hi, by your history it's not clear where is the hole, I assume you are looking at tonsillar fossa which is normal after surgery, which will be raw after removal for some days, take proper precautions as advised by surgeon, she will be fine.
