my 22 yr old daughter has always had huge tonsils even when she is not sick. Currently, she has a cold or the flu and she discovered tonight that part of her right tonsil seems to have detached itself from her throat. We can see some white stuff behind the part of her tonsil that is hanging loose.. so to speak. My daughter is worried about this change in her tonsil and I have never heard of this kind of thing happening. Why would her tonsil come loose like this (no bleeding involved)
