Suggest Remedy For Rashes And Swelling In Vagina

This past weekend I had sex and used Lube for the 1st time, after the sex i was a little sore but I ignored it because I thought it was normal, a couple days later my vagina and clitoris are swollen and I started to form a rash or something around my vagina, I went to 1 doctor and she believes it s genital herpes and prescribed me valtrex but I haven t had protected sex in a year and I ve never used lube so I thought It was an allergic reaction to both.i also told her about my UTI symptoms and she didn t prescribe me anything for just valtrex. The valtrex has NOT help my rash or my swollen clit, what can I do to alleviate the pain?

Hello,

You had used lubes for the first time and after sex your clitoris and vagina were a little sore. Presently, your vagina and clitoris is very swollen and you have developed rashes and pain also. Your treating doctor gave you Valtrex but it did not help. You also have UTI infection. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Gynae or Urologist. Get repeat urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done.

If UTI is detected you will be treated with specific antibiotics. To get relieve from rashes, you can apply ointment vagi-cur or vagicil. Do not touch, scratch or pop. Scratching will cause pain. Your symptoms can be due to allergy for the first time use of lubes. To reduce swelling and pain you can take Combiflam or Acetaminophen, one SOS when required.

To reduce symptoms of allergy, take non-sedating antihistamine once daily for 3 or 5 days. You should get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. If report show positive result, you will be treated accordingly with antibiotics and antivirals. Avoid any sexual activity for a couple of days. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
