i have a rash on my lateral chest area, which has been present for quite a while. I went to my md and he suggested to apply a mixture of lamisil and cortosone, and apply baby powder after showering, but it is still present. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.
an aymptomatic rash on the chest suggests the possibility of tinea versicolor which is caused by M.furfur.You need to apply topical clotrimazole cream along with oral antifungals like fluconazole after consulting your dermatologist. Regards
