I had this sore on my obdonmenal since June, at first it was red, it hurt to touch. Now it is november and it is black and very itchy, it is under my skin, you can see it. it has some little tiny dotes sores around it and it is scally, like dry skin.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red itchy sore on abdomen which occur because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it is due to abundance of sebaceous glands in these areas. It seems to be due to hair follicle infection leading to folliculitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash these areas daily with cold water and body wash containing salicylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelaic acid which is good for pimples. Maintain complete hygiene of that area. Take diet rich in multivitamins. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocycline, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
