Suggest Remedy For Red Pimples On The Scalp

Hello, I have been using Kirkland 5% Minoxidil for a month and a half now. Last week I started to notice red pimples on my scalp and severe irritation. Now, my scalp is covered by many red pimples and it severely hurts. Any advice or suggestions? Is this due to my use of Minoxidil?

Thanks for the query.
You might have developed folliculitis
Folliculitis is a bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
Please meet a dermatologist and request to do culture and sensitivity test on pus obtained from the lesion for exact diagnosis.
Once the exact bacteria is known, specific treatment can be given.
Improper use of antibiotic can lead to resistance.
