Hello! I have a skin problem. For a few days it seemed like my acne got worse with many bumps/clogged pores. I started to reuse Retin A and in two days it turned all scaly but now it's even worse, tight that i feel like wearing a mask around my mouth and half the cheeks. It is also red, like a rash.. What can I do? Thank you very much!
Understanding your concern. As per you query you have red skin acne which occurs when sebaceous gland under the hair follicle get blocked as sebum get accumulated in clogged duct of sebaceous gland along with dead skin and bacteria they produce acne. I would suggest you to avoid greasy creams ,use water based products. Apply vitamin E oil at night. Don't pick or touch acne. Wash you face 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil ,dust and bacteria on your face. Apply apple cider vinegar then wash with warm water twice daily. If acne still persists consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe ointments containing benzyol peroxide, azelaic acid or retinoids. Sometimes docotr may also prescribe antibiotics.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
