Suggest Remedy For Reducing Weight

Hi, i am a 48 years old female living in mumbai. I am currently 79 kgs and have a height of 4.11 . I was doing a diet program by myself still my weight was not reducing. A person sugessted me to undertake a serum insulin fasting test. The result was as follows- normal range 2.6-24.9 microU/ml where as my observed value is 25.7 microU/ml.I visited a nutritionist and a BAMS doctor who suggested me to take optisulin tablet once after break fast and also cobadex forte tablet onve after breakfast. Im not having diabetes, neither having hyper tension. My menstrual cycle is regular of 30 days and experience flow for 2 days. Should i take these additional supplements? Will they have any side effect? Am i at a risk of type 2 diabetes any time in future? Please advice asap. Thanks in anticipation. Sushila

Hello friend ... greetings from HCM... i would like you advice you more tests like fasting plasma glucose , HbA1c and lipid profile .... insulin levels are high indicates insulin resistance ... the receptors are not responding to insulin so pancreas is secreting more than normal of insulin... you are taking nutritional supplements... ok right now .. please get the report soon and contact us soon ..
first stay away from all the fast / processed / and fried food stuffs .. divide your meal in to 4-5 parts per day whenever you feel hungry.. add more of fiber rich food stuffs like green leafy vegetables, raw fruits.. (not juices), eat very less of carbohydrates (rice) avoid sugar completely.. take Millets and breads prepared out of it like ragi.. ragi is a very good source of calcium too...do take more of proteins ... like egg white... say no to oils and cholesterol rich food stuffs ... u can take fish (boiled) but chicken (without skin) rarely...sir, based on this you prepare your diet chart and strictly follow it ..Do exercise .. walk at least half an hour to one hour a day ... try and practice yoga and pranayama ... some aasanas are very easy to practice and also beneficial. Quit smoking and reduce your alcohol intake. Moreover, beet root juice (inorganic nitrate), olive leaves, garlic, termeric, tamarind also have proven benefits. if u can follow these (have to!!) you can definitely see difference yourself
