Suggest Remedy For Scalp Rash In A Child
My baby has a rash on his head and its getting aggrevated by heat as he is scratching it. Its forming bald spots on his head. I was advised to only use petroliam jelly (vaseline) its still just spreading . What can I use on him as his skin is so sensitive I don t use any baby products on him. He is 4 months now.

is it like thick greasy scales? it may be a case of seborrheic dermatitis. treatment is using baby shampoo and then removing scales with soft gentle brush. alternatively a shampoo containing selenium or ketoconazole can b used if it persists.
