I have a sebaceous cyst on my cheek that has gotten large. Looks like a clogged pore and my dermatologist isn t concerned. He has referred me to a plastic surgeon if it starts to bother me (cosmetically) to have it removed. I ve noticed a foul smell recently, and my pillow and bedding smells of mildew. Should I be concerned about the smell? I ve decided to have it removed in the fall when my work load lightens up. Should I not wait until fall?
Your dermatologist has done proper job. Just follow him. Kindly consult the surgeon or plastic surgeon and go for surgical excision. That may done in local anaesthesia. It is a minor surgery. There is no need to worry. ..ok
