Suggest Remedy For Severe Abdominal Cramps

Hi. I hope you can help. I had severe cramping yesterday, sorer than any menstrual cramp I have ever experienced. I then passed what I thought was a clot bur it had grey veiny tissue attached. The cramping then stopped. I m just wondering what it could have been? Thanks.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe abdominal cramps. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like drug overdose, gastroenteritis, food intolerance, side effect of medicine or allergic reaction. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to drink plenty of water and take antihistamine like benadryl twice a day. You should take diet rich in fibres and drink oral rehydration solution. You should avoid food like nuts and seas food and consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test, check vital and take history. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , analgesic , anti inflammatory , omeprazole , anti emetic drug. Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist or cardiologist if he/she find problem to be related with ear or heart respectively.
