Suggest Remedy For Severe Abdominal Pain Post Cesarean Section
Hi
i had c ssection a week ago and three days ago i started to have upper abdominal pain very sharp like contractions. Yesterday after using glycerine suppositories I noticed that my stool has blood.
I pain is still there.... what could be causing this
Hi. ]Noted your history of C-section a week ago. But started pain in upper abdomen along with blood in stool after taking Glycerin suppository. The most probable cause is colitis that is giving upper abdominal pain as well as blood in mucus. I would advise you the following: - First of all, to consult the operating surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations like X-ray of the abdomen in standing position, ultrasonography, tests of blood and stool. This will help to get a proper diagnosis and a plan for the treatment. If there is no relief, further tests like CT scan be necessary. Surgical exploration may be needed if there is a suspected post-operative complication.
