Hi,

Taking Granda Powders on a daily basis for a headache is the same as taking something like Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Aspirin.

You are overtreating the headache with a pain medication and this can lead to a condition known as medication overuse headaches.

The only way to break this type of cycle is to stop taking this preparation and find a headache specialist or Neurologist who can help diagnose exactly what type of baseline headaches you have (a migraine, tension-type, clusters, etc.) and diagnose you with the proper abortive as well as preventive medications.

You are correct in surmising that upon cessation of Granda Powders your headaches may get worse, however, they may not go through much pain since I doubt those tablets are really doing anything for the headaches in terms of overall control. You've said it yourself that you must increase the dosage now just to try to keep up with things. This is a telltale sign of a medication overuse headache using OTC medication to treat.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further by writing to me at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi with more questions or comments.
