Suggest Remedy For Severe Migraines And Blurred Vision
Hi, for a little over a month now I've been experiencing severe migraine headaches along with blurred vision. It's hard to focus on things throughout the day, but I have to push through it because I have to focus in school. This causes my headache to get even worse as the day goes on. I recently went to they eye doctor to see if I needed glasses, and they said I was a bit near sighted but definitely not to the point to where I needed glasses, so my eye sight isn't what's causing this. Earlier today I had a random nose bleed as well. I'm not sure what's going on but I can tell that something is wrong. If it helps, I'm a 16 year old girl. Can you please help?
Migraine is episodic type of throbbing headache occurring mainly in frontotemporal region. It cause significant distress. You have severe headache associated with blurred vision, it gets worsened in daytime. Most likely its migraine type. I would advise you to consult a neuropsychiatrist for treatment. Medicines like sodium valproate, topiramate, amitryptiline etc are commonly used in treatment. Some medicines like Propranolol help in prophylaxis of migraine. For very severe episodes drugs like flupirtine, sumatriptans can be used. Consult a psychiatrist for prescription. Apart from this try relaxation exercises, yoga and meditation. Avoid excess tea, coffee, aerated cold drinks or alcohol for now.
Thanks
