Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain And Bleeding Skin On Knee After A Fall
I fell skiing Saturday. Not sure how I landed but I know I hit my ski. Both of my thighs have line bruises for about 12 inches and the ski hit my knee so hard that it broke the skin and was bleeding. I am not worries about the bruises but my knee is killing me. I iced right away for two days. 5 days later my knee is still swollen. It feels like a horrible bruise but there is no discoloration. No limited range of motion. Hurts to put pressure on it, specifically going up steps. Even clothing touching it hurts. Thoughts?
I have studied your case and I think that there is chances that you might have injured your knee. I would recommend you to get MRI of the knee joint to confirm the diagnosis. If there is meniscus tear or a ligament injury than you will need help of the sports medicine specialist. If there is such injury and pain continue to persist than you might need arthroscopic procedure for your knee joint. Till you get these investigation I would recommend you to wear a knee brace and compression bandage and avoid walking or massaging your knee. i hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup question. thanks.
