I have a dry spot on the back of my mouth, right at my throat. It bothers me to swallow and it s near my tonsils, but just on one side. Water isn t helping, but a cough drop relieves the feeling temporarily. I just want to know what it is an how to handle it?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe throat dryness which is due to strep throat, tonsil inflammation or upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles on daily basis. Maintain oral hygiene. You should take antibiotic Amoxicillin in combination with antiallergic medication Sinarest. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get routine blood investigation and throat swab test done and start treatment after proper prescription. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
