Hi,My wife had late conception doctors said baby growth is not progressing and at the end they had to abort it. After wait of 3 months we conceived again and Thanks to God we have everything fine our baby is 9 weeks now. What worries me is that my wife gets too much vomiting last week i took her to hospital they gave her some medicine in drip to control it and it worked my wife s vomittings got in control. Again this week when she is at her mom s place she got too much vomittings and her father took her to hospital again for drip to stop the vomittings. Is it ok to stop vomittings on regular basis with drips and pills. Because what i know is that its a natural thing that happens to all women.
Hello sir,I understand your concern. In my opinion vomitings are normally seen in first trimester in most of the woman. But if they are excessive they need to be controlled by medicines.Because if they are left the general condition of mother will be deteriorated and in turn baby growth slows down.Dont worry the medicines which are given are safe both for mother and baby. Adequate fluids upto 2 to 3 litres and fruit juices are advised to counteract dehydration due to vomitings. Best regards...Dr.srilatha
