Hello

Sharp radiating pain from neck to shoulder may be related to cervical spine.
Your condition need proper clinical examination and investigations.
You may need X-ray of cervical spine (AP/Lateral view).
X-ray is basic investigation after clinical evaluation.
You may also need MRI of cervical spine.Your symptoms may be related to nerve roots compression, disc prolapse etc.Only MRI(cervical spine) can evaluate in detail.
Physiotherapy or surgery requirement depend upon findings.

Get well soon.
Take care
