Suggest Remedy For Shooting Pain In Forehead

Hi I m Sierra and I got hit in the head a year ago and now I rehit my head on the floor and there s a shooting pain towards the left of my forehead even though I got hit on the right side. I can t remember much, not even from a week ago. I Have trouble focusing. Appetite is fine and sleep is normal I m very tired but this is not related. I have a messed up head with many injuries and my friends are worried that I have a concussion or depression. While I m here, I also have knee problems. I might have sprained my acl. It bothers me when I turn. I also crave pain killers and have taken Advil every six hours for a very long time. Will I die from taking all of these painkillers and could they cause any of my issues and what is wrong with my head?

Hello Sierra!
I went through your question and understand your concern.
I think these problems may be caused by a concussion. It is normal to have this signs after concussion. I would advise you to relax and have some rest for some days.
The ibuprofen you are taking is not going to kill you. Do not worry about that! But I would advise not to take it for a long time. If the pain persists for more than 3 weeks and you can not bear it I would advise to start on an antidepressant like Nortriptiline or Doluxetine .
I would also advise to consult with an othopedist for the knee problems. A MRI of the knee may be necessary to exclude any joint damages.
Hope to have been of help!
Greetings!
