Suggest Remedy For Sinus Pain, Stuffy Head, Sneezing And Running Nose After Taking Pain Relief Injections

hi there, I am wondering if you can help me. I went to the dentist this morning, had 2 pain relief infections in the upper gum and a tooth repaired [part filling replaced]. Since then I have had sinus pain, stuffy head, sneezing, running nose, and blowing my nose all the time - on the side that I had the injections. I have never experienced this before with pain injections. When should I expect the problem to subside ? Thanks.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The symptoms are a sinus reaction to an allergen which may be the medication if you have not been exposed to any other possible allergens.

The use of oral antihistamines, oral and/or topical decongestants and possibly a topical steroid nasal spray (eg nasonex, nasocort, flonase), would help relieve your symptoms.

I hope this helps
