Suggest Remedy For Skin Ailments

I m a 17 year old boy and I ve never really had any issues with zits; white and blackheads included. Well very recently a friend pointed out to me that I had a large pea sized dark green spot on my back. When I looked in the mirror I felt it for the first time and it was hard under my skin, almost jagged like a piece of flat rock. It s under my skin a fair way and its looks absolutely nothing like a blackhead. It s never bothered me before and I m only now irritated now because it doesn t feel like something my body made. What could this be? Should I be concerned? Is there any way to remove this without cutting my back open?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello, according to what you describe, this can be indeed a giant comedone, sometimes they can have that dark green color you say. It can also be an epidermoid cyst. The treatment is surgical, so it needs to be cut in order to remove it.
