Suggest Remedy For Skin Irritation Due To Bee Sting

My husband got stung 4 years ago from bees,he has had shots,pills,creams ointments and it goes on and on .nothing works ,he scratches so intensed that it is now out of control.He even goes to acupuncture,don t know what else to do !I know there is a test that can detect nerve damage but a doctor told him he didn t need it.

Hi.
As per your case history your husband is having papular urticaria.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
