Suggest Remedy For Slurred Speech And Inability To Communicate

My husband seems to be having a tia (slurred speech and unable to communicate). I have given him a half glyceryl trinitrate SL tablet under the tongue - should I have done this? He has been having a little bit of trouble this past week and the doctor has taken him off the micardis (one a day) that he has been having. His history is that he had a triple A operation 3 years ago with trouble after that with no blood to one leg and then another operation the next morning. Then since then he has had trouble with his heart, a few stents inserted and his other medication is 150 mgs solprin in the morning and l vasocardol, 1 somac and
1 lipitor at night. He also has a Nitro-dur patch to wear each day.
