Suggest Remedy For Smelly & Itchy Scalp

My scalp smells really bad even after I wash it. It all started when I started washing my hair every day about six months ago. I have stopped doing that this summer and washing it about every 3 days. I have changed shampoos and products and it still smells.

Hi.
As per your case history of itchy and smelly scalp, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid eating foods like onion, garlic and excessive spicy foods.
2. Use a plain coconut oil and herbal shampoo for routine use.
3. Use a good conditioner like loreal or dove once a week to cover the smell from scalp.
4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
