Suggest Remedy For Some Beef Which Is Stuck In My Throat

I swallowed some beef and it got stuck in my throat. I can breathe find but cannot swallow water. I think some saliva is getting down but nothing else. I feel a large lump in the upper part of my chest/throat area. If I wait, will the food eventually dissolve and go down?
