Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I fell down 10 steps of stairs 3 hours ago and hit the top of my head on the concrete wall when I landed at the bottom. My neck hurts too (but its bearable) due to the impact. What should I do? I placed a cold compress on my head and the pain has subsided. My neck is sore and I am wearing a brace(which I happened to have) now. Is it necessary to see a doctor tomorrow?

Hello, Thanks for your query. From the description, I feel that you might have sustained a SOFT TISSUE STRAIN . Momentarily you can apply ice compressions along with antiinflammatory medications and rest to alleviate your pain. I suggest you to visit an orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
