Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat, Blisters On Back Of Throat With Coughing Due To Inhaling Bleach

I was cleaning my shower about 20 minutes ago with a bleach bathroom cleaner and now I have blisters on the back of my throat. Throat is very sore, hard to take deep breath and coughing alot. I have drank water and milk and it gets worse when I lay down?

Your symptoms are likely related from exposure to the bleach.

Bleach inhalation can present with symptoms such as blistering, pain in the mouth and throat, nausea, burning in the eyes, coughing, chest pain, vomiting.

If the bleach was in contact with your eyes or skin you need to flush them for up to 20 minutes. Remove yourself from the area. If there is no improvement you may need to see your doctor.

It would be best to either decrease the amount of bleach used the next time or ensure the area is very well ventilated.
