Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat With White Spots On Tonsils

I ve had a sore throat for the past 5 days in the past 2 days it has become very difficult and painful to swallow. I ve been to the doctor on Monday and they just said it was a viral infection and I was negative for strep. But it s been almost a week now and my tonsils started out swollen with white spots. Now they are completely covered with the spots and even turning yellow along with my tongue. My breath is also repulsive because of the infection.I have been using a sore throat numbing spray and gargling with salt water and nothing seems to help relieve the pain. I also have been taking ibuprofen.

I have read your query . As far as sore throat is concerned this can be due to viral infection or strep throat . For this I will suggest you to consult Ent surgeon for clinical examination and treatment . Inmeantime you do warm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day and you can take medicine like Azithromycin and allegra by consulting with local doctor .
