i woke up with a sore spot on my neck. It almost feels as if i have a bruise on the inside of my neck (right on the bone in the middle, where my neck meets my jaw ). I do not have a sore throat at all. If i touch it, it is very sore and i feel a lot of pressure. 24 year old female 105lbs and i m 5-9. I recently heard that in my chart it says i have castleman s disease but the doctor that wrote that in my chart never said anything to me. i have an appt on tuesday to go back to that doctor. Should i wait til then with my throat hurting like this? and what could it be? (I m hoping i just somehow twisted it wrong when i slept.)
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.
Use pain killer like simple paracetamol may give relief. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
