I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain sore feeling of the roof of mouth after eating lots of crisps and peanuts is due to the hard foods that when eaten in excess can cause moderate injuries to the mucosa leading to inflammation and soreness.. You need not to worry as there seems nothing serious and you can gargle with a numbing mouthwash to relieve soreness as well as do warm saline gargles.. Sucking ice pops and taking a soft diet will help.. Avoid hot, spicy and hard foods and in future also eat very hard foods in limits..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora
