Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had this issue twice where I suddenly develop stomach ache all over my stomach and I vomited once on both occasions. After waking up in the morning, I feel a slight pain in the lower right of my stomach for about 48hrs d first time and 24hrs the second time. Please advise. Thank you
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns. Early morning pain in stomach area may be due to chronic duodenal ulcer and will respond to proton pump inhibitors (PPI) like pantoprazole etc. You need to get your ultrasonography (USG) abdomen done also to exclude any Gall stone or cholelithiaisis causing biliary colic or any chronic pancreatitis. Stool routine examination will exclude any intestinal nematode infestation causing intestinal colic.
