Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 4 week old daughter was born with a fistula. Since last night about 10pm she seems pretty uncomfortable. At one point her belly was hard and all over to one side. These symptoms have improved. However she still isn't eating as much as she normally does. What are some things I should look for with her having the fistula? When should I worry?
If you observe any discharge from a fistula or bloating of stomach or bleeding from anus or fever or vomiting, please consult your pediatric surgeon. He will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
