Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am going on Wednesday to have a laproscopy/appedenix out @ the same time. I have suffered from abodomial pain since March and had a CT scan done showed fliud in pelivs ; some scattered diverticula , cysts present on both ovaries and multiple follicular cysts. I have almost a constant pain of worm like being in my stomache wake in the AM with a pain and bloating. I do have endometriosis but that pain is different than this. What do you propose are some options for me?
Fluid may be due to reactionary to appendicitis and little amount of fluid may observed during ovulation.
Endometriosis means endometrial tissue on other than endometrium. During each cycle you may observe severe pain abdomen. If it is like that need to be evaluated and get treated for endometriosis by medically or surgically.
Please consult your gynecologist after appendectomy surgery, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
