Suggest Remedy For Stuffy Nose

I took 100mg of Trazadone first time last night, I got stuffed nose and could only breathe through my mouth, I didn t sleep until 7 hours later when I could breathe through my nose again. I think I should cut the dosage and try again, but wonder how long this side effect can continue?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Stuffy nose is not a common side effect of Trazadone, so if you are taking it on doctor's advice, please do not adjust or reduce the dose yourself without consulting with him or her first.
Try doing some steam inhalation with plain water, sleeping in a semi- reclining position or sleeping sideways and avoiding too much air- conditioning; it it continues to bother you even after a week of the above, see an ENT.
