Suggest Remedy For Sunburns

Hello, I am looking for information on sunburns. Since 1988, I have had severe sunburns and I do not get any indication I have had to much sun until I look at my body before going to bed and notice how much sun I received during the day. This sunburn can occur even when I am fully clothed and in the sun for as little as 5 to 10 minutes outdoors. Thank you for assisting me in this matter.

Hi,

Sunburn is a very troublesome skin condition caused be long term exposure to severe sun rays...causing the irritant erythematous burnt skin. It is a very embarrassing condition. I can understand your sufferings.

I would suggest...

- protect the area to prevent further spread of the disease with covering the area with cloth and to avoid going under sun
- apply alovera gel on the affected area
- oral steroids in tappering dose
- antihistaminics
- antibiotic short course
- vitamin C tablets
- stay in AC room
- avoid soap bath
- wear cotton clothes

I hope these tips would help you..

Thanks.
