I have been having pain in my right ear. it feels like it is swollen and painful. I have experienced problems with it for the last year only with dry skin and then when the skin comes off it is wet. It was diagnosed as swimmers ear but I never swim.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of swelling and pain in ear which could be due to ear infection, swimmers ear, accumulation of ear wax, foreign body penetration in ear and it could be due to sinusitis. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin along with Ibuprofen. Cover your ears with ear cap before bathing and avoid coming in direct contact with water. You should avoid touching or pricking it with any sharp object. You should put Otogesic ear drops 3-4 times a day. You should take proper rest. If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done and examination with otoscope. Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will exaggerate your situation.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
