Suggest Remedy For Swelling From Knee Down With Sores

My husband s legs from knees down are so swollen that it is causing sores on his skin and they are hard to the touch. He is on no meds, 46 yrs old, and had a full right hip replacement in 2004. He also has been exposed to black mold in our bathroom for about 5-6 months. There are bumps everywhere on his body.

Hi.
As per your case history your husband is having papular urticaria.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Wear full sleeve clothes to avoid further such episodes.
3. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream twice daily on affected skin.
4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching.
5. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
