Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Feeling of swollen hands is because of numbness caused by neural compression or affection, you may be suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, and watch if you have such symptoms in other hand also. usually when we have patients with these complains we do some clinical test check the power of hand muscles and advise a Nerve conduction study, to come to a diagnosis, the treatment can be done after diagnosis, but I would advise you not to waste time, as if the nerve damage is irreversible no surgery will be able to help.
