Suggest Remedy For Swelling Over The Right Side Of Thyroid

I have a swelling over the right side of my thyroid, I have had a blood test today and am booked in for an ultrasound on Friday, I have no symptoms of hypo or hyper thyroidism, but was wondering if it was cancer would I be able to feel a hard lump or might it just feel like a bubble under the skin ?

Thank you for asking on HCM!
I can understand your concern.
Clinically thyroid cancer is hard in palpation, you are right. But the ultrasound characteristics are more informative than clinical evaluation.
If the nodule is big and has not a cystic appearance in ultrasound your doctor will suggest you a cytology as a further step.
