Suggest Remedy For Swollen Arm After Injecting Meth
My friend injected a very tiny bit of meth inside her arm stoped injecting it because it wouldnt register but the next morning her arm is red, hot to the touch and swollen to almost a golf ball size. We are putting a hot comress and tightly wrapingm it around the arm , what other st can we take?
She has tried to inject meth and probably it didn't go in vein or punctured the vein. Now she has developed swelling on arms and there is tenderness. Most likely she has developed thrombophlebitis of veins. Thrombophlebitis is inflammation of veins and can occur due IVD users (intravenous drug) due to contaminated needles or faulty method used in injecting.
I would advise you to ski her to keep the arm raised while lying on bed, or she can keep two pillows below the affected arm.
Apply ice over affected part gently. Don't use hot compresses.
Application of Thrombophobe or Heparin containing creams will help in mobilising edema and will decrease inflammation.

Suggest Remedy For Swollen Arm After Injecting Meth
Hello thanks for asking from HEALTH CARE MAGIC She has tried to inject meth and probably it didn t go in vein or punctured the vein. Don t use hot compresses. Application of Thrombophobe or Heparin containing creams will help in mobilising edema and will decrease inflammation. If she is having severe pain you can give analgesics to her like Paracetamol or Ibuprofen. Consult a doctor if problem become distressing or severe. Thanks, hope this helps you. Request her to quit using drugs.
