Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother just called me from Florida and mentioned when she was coming home from eating that her legs had like pins and needles a dnher calf was hard and her feet were swollen. now she mentioned her calfs were not as hard but her feet are still swollen. What should I tell her?
You can advise her to undergo physiotherapy sessions as with exercise the symptoms will come down. As age progresses there will be a weakness in the body and some physiological changes on the unexpected side of musculoskeletal issues.
Having doing regular exercise will help her to be fit and active.
In my clinical practice of over 12 years, most cases have been referred to exercise and they improve the overall quality of life.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
